G7ee's (aka George T G Lee) musical journey began with a profound love for music that has been a constant companion & savior throughout his life. Influenced by a diverse array of artists from Bread to Stevie Wonder, and from Led Zeppelin to Michael Jackson, & many more, G7ee’s passion for music was nurtured from a young age. He bought his first album at 12 yrs, Donna Summer's MacArthur Park, then came Earth Wind & Fire -=September, Bad Company , Rod Stewart etc and at night would play it in the living room where he would dance with his sister Christine and kept on adding. As he grew up, he immersed himself in the rich sounds of the 70s and 80s and was most impressed by musical films with The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and then came the disco wave of Saturday Night Fever, Fame, Flashdance, Footloose & Jesus Christ Superstar. When Casey Casey used to announced the American Top 40's on radio he would be tuned to the radio listening all the best singles every week. All these music of an unbelievable era of sound and vision that sadly can never be repeated has left an indelible mark on his musical style. He believes that without music in his life, it would have been boring and with music he could "escape" which helped keep his sanity intact.
The big swing towards becoming a musician came in May 2021, during a pandemic 3 month-lock down in Kuala Lumpur, George decided to pick up the guitar and self-taught himself the basics with just 6 chords. Within a short span, he was composing songs that resonated with the emotions and experiences of life. His first composition, "Life’s A Mystery," (never released) paved the way for many more. As of June 2026, he has composed over 200+ original songs mostly heartfelt songs that reflected his personal journey, about love, some about life and thoughts and some stories of those around him.
Returning to his home in Mid 2022 on Gold Coast, Australia, George continued to refine his craft, collaborating with co-producer Mr. Keefe West to add his music a professional studio mix to what was already beautiful songs. With a growing repertoire of songs mostly love ballads but he did not limit it to just one genre, G7ee has composed and released songs that are Folk, Indie, Pop, Reggae and Deep House. His first release on YouTube was Because of You was May 2024. Followed by IT'S OUR TIME on YouTube & Spotify and as of July 4th a total of 10 songs released.
A major milestone just 4 1/2 years since picking up the guitar was joining Music Funding Academy (MFA) on 24th December 2025, leading to an auspicious event on 16th January 2026 at Atlanta, Georgia, Then known as George T G Lee the artist came under the guidance of Mr Chris Tyson CEO of Music Funding Academy was introduced to Mr Rel Carter CEO of Roc Nation, with the aim to distribute his songs. After performing live for the two gentlemen, George T G Lee then changed his stage name to G7ee and has revamped his website and material accordingly to what you are seeing here today. It has taken 6 months since that milestone event to finally relaunch his musical career and continued to build his relationships. The latest milestone on July 3rd 2026, G7ee released his 10th Single RINGA DINGA LINGA as his first single distributed through Roc Nation. He aims to touch the hearts of listeners worldwide, aspiring to release his first album soon, hoping to have a hit song soon, see his music performed by well-known artists as well as himself on the world stage. That is the platform from which this transformation, renaming, adaption to today's tech world, creation of hit songs, performance on the international stage and personal growth shall arise from.
As the artist George T G Lee, he released 9 songs on YouTube which includes Because of You, the first release, May 2024 & 8 songs on Spotify, Hey Lets dance the night away - 2 versions a Dance and a Reggae version, Keep Believing, Witch of Hearts (slow romantic version) It's our Time and This is my Fantasy plus two covers of "Knocking on Heaven's door" & "Stand by me", whereby he wrote extra verses to add for his version.
Following his release of his first song RINGA DINGA LINGA through Roc Nation, he promised to soon be releasing 2 new original songs. Baby Don't Let me Go in August 2026 followed by a Ocean's Apart then a Deep House Version of Witch of Hearts in Sept 2026. He is considering releasing 1 or 2 covers as well.

What is g7ee?
G7ee symbolizes the artist formerly known as George T G Lee and it is his heartfelt project of sharing real-life stories through music. The 7 represents his 7th decade and a change of life and lifestyles when he started playing guitar and composing songs. It is also an inverted letter 'L" and therefore should be pronounced 'Glee' which is his nickname" since childhood. It gives a modern style to the name & image and befitting the fact that its his new chapter in life.
The song plays softly in the background as you scroll listen to the lyrics and feel it as it fades gently. Many say he has a very calming voice and the songs he writes are very listenable with catchy Choruses as their hooks.
Since most of his songs are love ballads it's naturally about his loves throughout his life but sometimes they are friends which he values a lot and observation of others. No harm or disrespect are intended to anyone, just the facts.

Is the music original?
Absolutely, yes the songs are 100% original and were created from life experiences for this experience, except for a few covers that are clearly specified as "Covers". But even then with any covers G7ee likes to add new verses and puts his stamp on the songs. For example, his release version of "Knockin' on Heavens door" a classic song by Bob Dylan, G7ee wrote a new 3rd verse for it. With his release version of "Stand By Me" G7ee wrote an intro, a 3rd verse and an epilogue for that release, which I should say that the epilogue is the perfect and best ending for the song "Stand By Me"
